Currently we have only received negative feedback about this feature, and it will probably be removed in the near future. I can only say that it works great on Vista using IE7.

Tested:

Internet Explorer 7 (Vista): YES
Firefox 2.0.0.12 (Vista): NO
Safari for Windows 3.0.4 (Vista): NO - Should work, but can't turn on background printing in Safari for Windows. Safari on MAC should work when you turn on background printing.

(Image/Printing Tips)

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE "PRINT BACKGROUND IMAGES" set to ON
- Internet Explorer: On the Tools menu, click Internet Options. Click the Advanced tab. Under Settings, scroll down until you find the Printing category. Make sure Print background colors and images is checked, and then click OK.
- Safari on Mac: On the File menu, click Print. On the Copies & Pages pop-up menu, click Safari. Select Print Backgrounds. Click OK.
- Safari on Windows: We have been unable to determine how to allow printing of background images in this browser.
- Netscape: On the File menu, click Page Setup. On the Format & Options tab, under Options, select Print background (colors & images). Click OK.
- Firefox - This application does not work with Firefox. Firefox requires a change in it's internal configuration files to make our application work. We have decided not to support Firefox due to this.
Make the image the appropriate size (less than 750 x 950 pixels) BEFORE entering it above, and that it is a GIF, JPG (or JPEG), or PNG. TIFF files will not work on the web! We will not modify your image dimensions for you. Images that are too large may cause the application to not work at all.
Be sure to use the "Print Preview" option before printing. The page will not print the way it LOOK in your browser. This is different for every printer - so you will have to locate it.

We highly suggest that you only use images less than 750 x 950 pixels - this may require you to edit them PRIOR to using them here.

This will place white behind the text - so the text is more readable.

FAQ's and Troubleshooting

Can you leave the Day or Month BLANK - I want my kids to fill it in
- Yes, just click on the cell that holds that text, and erase it.
- TIP: You can make it bigger by placing simple HTML inside. For example, place "<br>" (without the quotes) to add a line break, and make the height of the cell bigger.
I want to make my own events
- EASY! Just click on any day and make your own event. Long descriptions can be added, and they are appended below the calendar!
I want to change the margins
- Margins are adjusted in your "Print Properties" dialog - that is the box that pops up when you attempt to print the page.
Background colors don't print
- Background color printing is set to "OFF" in your browser by default (To save ink). To turn it on, look in your browsers "printing" options - it IS in there someplace.
